Die Digitalisierung ist allgegenwärtig – auch in der Musikindustrie. Was diese technische Entwicklung für ihre Arbeit konkret bedeutet, erzählen Musiker zweier unterschiedlicher Genres und Generationen: der Luzerner Rapper Mimiks ist noch Newcomer und steht kurz vor der Plattentaufe seines zweiten Albums, das Zürcher DJ Duo Animal Trainer gehört bereits zu den Etablierten und legt in Clubs auf der ganzen Welt auf; auf ihrem Weg werden beide vom steten Fortschritt der Technologie und der Macht des Internets begleitet.
The digital age is omnipresent – even in the music industry. Two musicians of very different genres and generations speak about the impact today’s technical developments have on their work: Lucerne rapper Mimiks is still a newcomer and about to launch his second album, whereas Zurich’s DJ duo, Animal Trainer, has long established itself in the scene and is playing clubs around the world. Both of them are constantly faced with technological progress and the power of the internet.
