Hêlîn, Selin, Firat und Serhat sind Geschwister, aufgewachsen in einem Dorf in der Zentralschweiz. Aus ihrem Elternhaus tragen sie das Wohnzimmer in die Öffentlichkeit: Zuerst den bunten Teppich, dann das Sofa, schliesslich den heissen Çay. Eine neue Geschichte entsteht, in der Wut und Widerständigkeit unbefangen neben Fremdsein und Ohnmacht Platz nehmen.
Hêlîn, Selin, Firat and Serhat are siblings who grew up in a village in central Switzerland. They carry their family living-room out into public space: first the colourful carpet, then the couch, last of all the hot Çay. A new story takes shape where anger and resilience find their place unfazed alongside othering and fear.
