Wenn es Abend wird finden sich die Stammgäste im Restaurant Schützenhaus ein. Die Beiz ist ein Begegnungsort; in filmischen Portraits lernen wir den Wirt Georges und zwei der Gäste näher kennen. Sie reflektieren ihre Visionen, Enttäuschungen, die Liebe und das Älterwerden. Und erkennen, dass sie gar nicht anders können – als (fast) nichts zu bereuen.
When the day draws to a close, the regulars start coming to the local greasy spoon, the “Schützenhaus”. This is where people meet and, by way of a film portrait, we get to know innkeeper Georges and two of his regular guests. They muse over their visions, disappointments, love and getting old. And they realise they can’t help but regret (almost) nothing.
